Serving

Serving as part of the church is one of the most important things that we see in the New Testament for followers of Christ. 1 Peter 4:10-11 says:

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

We are called to serve and to serve together as Christ’s church.

There are many opportunities and areas in which to serve at Blue Mountain, and we are always in need of more willing servants with different gifts.

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.”
1 Corinthians 12:4-7

Some of the areas of opportunity are in our Children’s ministries, hospitality, care team, worship team, in the kitchen, and many more areas that need people to serve.

If you are interested in getting involved at Blue Mountain, have any questions about areas of ministry in which you could be used, or just want to serve in some way, please contact the church office.
